For the fifth straight year, we handled the video for the Power Showcase. The Power Showcase is the International High School Home Run Derby. The top 100 high school power hitters converged on Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ this year. Daniel Vogelbach from Ft. Myers, FL won it in a runaway this year. He hit a whopping 30 HRs including a new record 508' HR. Bryce Harper was a keynote speaker the night before at the dinner banquet, and then was gracious enough to take a 45 minute round of BP. He held the previous record with a 502' HR. For those who don't follow baseball, Bryce was the first overall pick in the MLB draft last June by the Washington Nationals. He signed for $9.9M bonus.
