Robert & Syeda at The Palms

I had the pleasure of shooting Robert and Syeda's wedding at one our favorite locations, The Palms in Miami Beach. It was also a night time wedding, not planned that way:) but the weather dictated the circumstances. Through a lot of hand wringing, pacing, and praying they were able to pull off an outdoor wedding under the famed gazebo. Robert and Syeda had an Indian/Traditional wedding that started the night before with a beautiful dinner at Ishq followed by a wonderful traditional wedding at the Palms. It was a small, but intimate wedding with close friends and family and a wonderful time was had by all to boot. They were a delight to work with. I usually profile recaps and sometimes getting ready's or photo shoots on the blog, but I'm going to switch it up this time and demo their rehearsal dinner. There were great aesthetics and they picked the perfect song for it. Enjoy!

Carlos & Fatima's Wedding

Carlos & Fatima tied the knot on April 17, 2010 at Our Lady of Lebanon in Coral Gables. I have to keep myself in check when writing these because I always want to start it with..."We/I had a great time at x and y's wedding"...which is the truth, but it's monotous. But truth be told, it was a great time:0 Fatima was a breeze from the bridal prep at the Ritz, all the way to the end of the night, and Carlos did a fantastic job playing to the camera at all the right times, which always makes the my job easier and video that much better. Not a single down moment during the whole reception at the Woman's Club in the Gables, either. Some of the best reception footage we've got in a while. To top it off, I got to the work with the two and only Greg and Heidi from Gregory Paul Photography. They're the best! Looking forward to doing Fatima's sister, Frances' wedding in October, too!
